
COMMUNITY BASKETBALL
Inclusive basketball sessions for primary- and secondary-school-aged children. Suitable for beginners and developing players, with a focus on basketball fundamentals, confidence, teamwork and enjoyment.
WHO IT IS FOR
Children and young people who are new to basketball, returning to the game or developing their skills in a welcoming community environment.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE FIRST SESSION
Select the correct age group, check the current session in Coacha and register the child through the parent or guardian account. The coach will explain the activities and help the player join the group.
WHAT CHILDREN WILL LEARN
Ball handling, passing, shooting, movement, defence, decision-making, teamwork and an understanding of the game, adapted to the age and experience of the group.
WHAT TO BRING
Comfortable sports clothing, suitable trainers, a named water bottle and any essential medication already notified to the club.
SAFEGUARDING AND SUPERVISION
